Dwell time is the most important factor when it comes to combating viral contagions. Dwell time is the specific amount of time a chemical must remain on a surface in order to kill a specific organism. Dwell times can easily exceed 3 minutes or more to be effective killers of viruses. Are you using a proper dwell time?

How do I know the Dwell Time?
Dwell time and or kill times should be listed on the back of the cleaning chemical you are using. However, if you have not been trained on how to properly apply the chemical to allow it to dwell...this suddenly got complicated.

Tip:
Always use professional cleaning services for all commercial or business disinfection needs. Professional cleaners have been trained in best practices and sufficient dwell times.
